Shadow Puppet Sita in Miniature

This small Wayang Kulit, Indonesian shadow puppet, capture the feel and effect of the larger puppets, but in miniature. Used to tell the stories from the Indian epic, the Mahabharata, Rama & Sita, young lovers, are the Hindu Romeo & Juliet. Our small Sita is quite beautiful, made from buffalo hide, exquisitely painted and is produced in Bantul Yogyakarta, by skilled hands who are experts in the making of Wayang Kulit.
