Antiqued Bronze Ganesha Sculpture

This antiqued Ganesha sculpture evokes the ancient Hindu mystical force the Lord Elephant God holds. Ganesha is one of the best known and loved deities in the Hindu pantheon of gods, and Ganesha is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom. Old, but not ancient, made in a lost wax process with bronze and finished with an antique green patina gives it the appearance of an old treasure. The craftsmen who created it hail from Central Java, but it was found in an antique shop in the belly of Bali. Small pores and imperfections caused by the production process make each piece unique. It is a stunning piece!
